There was a mention on here about this going national that they would pick a post off this group to make us look crazy… I have not read all the post … I have read quite a few of them… in what I have read people on here have been very good… they are just telling there frustrations of how we are being done… its called the first amendment… as far as I can tell this is a pretty good group… nobody is threatening anyone… we are conservatives… we don’t do harm…

Ah, no. When you set up a wine tasting tour with transportation provided, there is an expectation that folks will imbibe freely. Otherwise, people could drive themselves around and save money and hassle. Wine has alcohol in it. Alcohol causes tipsiness. Tipsy people – no matter how wealthy or high class – are louder people. I used to live around the corner from a high end French restaurant and bar, so I know this from direct observation. And the patrons I watched leaving all had cars. There is no mystery here.

Warning I am a big fan of Snoopy and proud of it shirt

So, never been on a wine train, but I’d guess that part of it is the wine drinking, part is socializing and part is enjoying the scenery with the ambiance of being on a train. I have been on many tours that were ruined by jerks who just wouldn’t STFU. A group like this would really piss me off. I might have thrown them off the train myself.

People were falling down drunk on bad wine. It is expensive and tacky (just my opinion). Caveat..I do not believe the ladies in the book club deserved to be kicked off. The Napa police didn’t think there was a problem either. I do believe there is racism in the wine tasting business. There are stereo-types (based on professional experience) which do hold true.
