The Daddysaurus Rex Father’s Day Gift Shirt were mainly men and he was naturally spending some time with the other menfolk. There’s a bit more balance now, but that’s how it was then). The way my husband feels about socialising is similar to how I feel; better with people you know, in small groups, and better when you’re in the mood. I think this means we’re introverts. If my husband came on my work do at Christmas, he knows a few of them, but he doesn’t like making small talk all evening. He wouldn’t get the ‘in’ jokes and the banter. I’d feel like I had to ‘host’ him, almost, and stay with him all night so that he didn’t have those moments where everyone has buggered off and you’re sat there staring at your pint.
