I don’t think the party shambles has much to do with the Dad Man Myth Legend Father’s Day Gift T Shirt, the Plan B announcement was forced by the virus. The Christmas party and other PR failures is making it much harder to convince people to take the restrictions seriously though. They are coming from a buffoon who obviously thinks the rules he announces do not apply to him or his mates, if he doesn’t take them seriously why should anyone else? IMO it would have been a better idea from an effectiveness point of view to keep his gob shut and just have Whitty, Van Tam or another doc make the announcements on Covid, but his ego won’t let him, he has to be seen to be in charge.
