I owned a new ’16 & ’17 GX. They’re a comfortable place to spend time in traffic, and Not sure who is harder to raise my husband or my kids shirt. But the brakes are complete shit, the 30k services will run you more than your first used car, and driving in a rainstorm sounds like someone is shaking a coffee can with rocks in it with the rain hitting the roof. It also needs an electric radiator fan — on start up and taking off from a stop it sounds like a cement truck; it’s WAY louder than the engine + exhaust together. You need to either keep both feet on the brakes or put it in neutral at a traffic light or you’ll find yourself easing into an intersection unexpectedly. The upside is that they’re comfortable and I understand somewhat reliable.
