terrible truth into your present moment. I feel closer to forgiving my mom than ever, but I’ve been healthy and functioning for a very long time, healed in many ways. This is a lifelong journey, and some will come to forgiveness in their own way, on their own time, and some won’t. It doesn’t mean they need pity or are suffering. It’s just that some actions are beyond understanding. Some actions are pure evil, and very hard to reconcile if you’re going to stay above the dark waters.
