Getting a job here is extremely easy. That comment about lavar ball shirt and having absolutely no other qualifications, including even a decent command of English, actually has a lot of truth to it. When I came to China, I only had my college degree. No TEFL certificate and no teaching experience whatsoever. I got my TEFL certificate only after I had already been teaching for almost a year and I only recently accumulated two years of teaching experience.
