The Thick Thighs Thin Patience Shirt /public education system aren’t the problem. It seems like the problems are specific to the areas and people in control. I’ve only ever been a public school teacher and I’ve never encountered anything like the issues I’m seeing in some parts of the country. My district is one of the biggest in the state, very diverse and located in a city of over 4 million people. Why is my district able to provide quality education, technology, nurses and counselors on every campus AND yearly raises for staff while these cities can’t? It’s about priorities..and I’m just grateful I work in a district with such amazing leadership.
