Well, I don’t think that Galaxy’s Edge is a failure per-say, but more so that it opened in an incomplete state. They rushed it and people aren’t happy that they didn’t complete the land before said opening. The main attraction isn’t Smuggler’s Run, but Rise of the Tampa bay rays baseball signatures shirt. I made an analogy in another post, comparing GE vs Pandora. Imagine if Pandora opened with just Na’Vi River Journey and not Flight of Passage. Because that’s what happened here, Smuggler’s Run is the River Journey of Galaxy’s Edge. People would be saying that Pandora was a let down, because although the land is themed well, the star attraction isn’t pulling people in.
