it was a cold january in northern illinois and the dog was so ill. he had an eye infection in both eyes and they had Adventure Awaits Arrow Forest T-Shirt. one of his paws was infected and swollen and he had a huge cancerous abscess on his back. i tried to get him into a stall with a blanket but he had just given up. somehow i managed to lift this 200lb dog into my jeep (i was 5′ and 95lbs.) i just could not leave him. and bless him…he was such a lovely gentle soul. our lives were so enriched by having him with us.
