I met your grandmother when my troop spent the night in a little town near Marseilles. Marcus, a buddy of mine from back in Jersey, and I snuck out of camp. We found a little jazz club to relax in, and try out the local wine — which we heard was quite good. We were sittin’ there, our first Bordeaux just poured and in walked your grandmother. She was wearing a short white dress, and I am a Dance Teacher and Mom Jury Judge Nurse sweatshirt. I was entranced by the delicacy of her movements, but when she looked up at the waiter to order a drink, I knew I had to meet her — those eyes, those pale blue eyes.
