I find this a moderately difficult question. I don’t watch ET every night and have never had a Peter Puppy shirt to People Magazine. I can think of famous sly-fishermen, a philosopher or two, a therapist (Sal Minuchin- people that the average American has never heard of. As far as the A-list types go, the only person who comes to mind is Tom Hanks. The range of roles he has played is incredible. I admire his talent. After Hanks is rescued from Somali pirates in Captain Phillips, he is given a physical by a Navy corps woman. After being a hero for the entire movie he finally gets a chance to get in touch with himself. He breaks down and sobs like a child- very moving. And beyond his considerable talent, Tom just seems like a nice guy- a regular person who is gifted, wealthy and, if I’m correct, hasn’t let success go to his head. I feel as if Tom and I could grab a couple of lattes, sit down for a while and have a meaningful conversation. And I would feel welcome and comfortable.
