My son is also a Kevin. He’s six and he can’t watch Black Mamba Kobe Bryant 1978-2020 shirt because if someone dies he refuses to watch it and I just can’t watch him bravely struggle not to cry. Everything hurts him, which kills me, but he has such a beautiful, tender soul. He is so gentle with younger children, especially his sister (who’s 2) and he has a kind word for everyone. It’s hard for us Kevin-mummies, because it’s terrible to want so badly to take the struggles away and keep the world at bay, so I feel your pain, Carrie, in the most literal way possible. I’m scared the world may prove ‘too heavy’ for my son too. But I hope he will always know that I’m there for him (just as I can tell you will be for your little one) and we can get through it all together.
