I don’t understand all this DROUGHT talk with the lack of water in NSW/Qland!!! I DO UNDERSTAND that there is no water but what I DON’T get is how the government are saying we will attempt to do something. They have pledged funds for the Friends San Francisco 49ers signatures shirt for SOME sort of relief WHY can’t they put funds into lets say Victoria’s desalination plant where they can make water then the government pay for the trucks to ship the water to he farmers to fill their dams to enable stock to feed and crops to grow?? I understand that it would take logistics to do this but at least they could start to get things rolling for the poor farmers that need SEVERE help.
